I think they screwed up in that they never showed the characters who returned from New Caprica reacting to Fat!Lee. I know they were all miserable and recovering from the trauma, but would Kara joking about Lee behind his back been too much? Or Roslin inviting Lee to an emergency meeting of the Quorum discussing about the dire situation that the fleet's doughnut stock happens to be in?
