Excuse my ignorance, but is it official that DT is leaving DW, or is it just assumed/speculation at this stage?
I mentioned this below (but in case you missed it :) ) ---

The BBC has confirmed that Tennant is staying through 2009, so no new Doctor would be needed until 2010. :)
