So I Went to the Movies
I realise “Dear John” letters are terribly cliché, but what’s a girl to do when the man in question is fictional.
Dear Superman
First off, let me say; it’s not you, it’s me. I was wrong to enter into a relationship with a man that has not one of the six qualities I want in a man; a sexy accent, hot period costuming, a layer of dirt, the ability to swordfight, a healthy love of alcohol and a the amoral pursuit of an in inherently honourable ambition.
Now I have to admit, there is another man. A man who manages to fill not just a few, but all of these qualities. I am sure Commodore Norrington and I will be very happy together. All I wish is that he had been dirty and drunken and had a sword-fighting scene in the first movie. From the drunken moment he arrived in the movie to his final scene at the end where he strides in with the heart, all dirty and pleased, he looked so damned sexy that I could not help but become obsessed.
We will always have Superman Returns,
Meddow
So anyway, saw the movie but I’m blown away by the hotness to really give my opinion. And yes, this probably does mean the end of my Superman obsession, but a new one has just begun.

I know there was a movie there somewhere and other characters, but all I could do was bask in the Norrington glory. I think this is one movie I'm going to have to see multiple times as well, though I'm currently searching for good Norrington fanfiction.

I'm afraid to look in ff.net's Pirates section, although I do remember that there was some readable fic that popped up shortly after the first movie came out. I think I was occupied with Jack/Elizabeth storylines at the time, however. I'll keep an eye out for Norrington!fic. It must exist.

Statistically, there has got to be some good stuff out there somewhere. Though the idea of searching ff.net for it is pretty daunting, though hopefully the badfic writers are more obsessed with the principle three.

I've been friending fellow Norrington-loving-folks over at the Pirates Friending Meme (http://killerspork33.livejournal.com/335318.html?view=1559510#t1559510). I fully plan on interrogating them about Norrington!fic later.

I’ve give up searching for "Norrington" and instead and found a few rec sites with links to Norrington fic. There are three here (http://community.livejournal.com/potc_recs/) and this site (http://captainjack.t35.com/FanFic.html) has quite a few Norrington fics, though I haven’t had a chance to read any yet to see if they are good.

Ah, thank you! So far I've only had the chance to browse through some lj communities--namely
