Holy Shit Indeed
Nov. 20th, 2007 11:00 pmZOMG Heroes, I love you.
HRG! So let's see, in one episode, Bennet loses his daughter, and gains back his daughter. Then loses his wife, and gains back his wife. And then promptly loses his life, only too...And through all this displays every single one of his shades of grey.
Oh, and I balled. Damn, this episode was sadder than even Company Man. It was Sandra that made me do it first. You know what this show needs? More Sandra. And more Noah and Sandra. And she called him Noah. That's the first time ever in the history of the show somebody's ever called HRG by his first name. And brilliant usage too, his first name humanises him just that little bit more, and makes him even more sympathetic.
Mohinder, surprisingly, is not dead to me. Yes, he was a dumbass, but I think he regrets it. Dude's going to listen to Bennet next time, and I actually think him being an idiot was worth it for HRG's shocked 'You've gone native?' remark alone. And Awww, Bennet really thought Mohinder was too good a person to have ratted him out.
Bob and Elle just get more interesting each week. That water thing? Awesome.
Parkman's gone dark. And it just happened so naturally. Wow.
I think Hiro went from wanting to save his Dad to accepting his Dad's choice to die just a little to fast, but it totally worked at the end with the whole 'I love my morally grey Daddy - I love my freaky powered kid' theme to the episode.
Angela, as ever, just was brilliant. Yelling at Parkman about his Daddy issues won.
Now, where the hell is Bennet? In the clutches of the Company or in the clutches of Adam? Why did they let him live anyway? Dude's awesome, but at the end of the day, a muggle, and a muggle with a grudge against the Company (and no shirt - hee ;))
That was one of the best episodes ever.

Date: 2007-11-20 01:59 pm (UTC)That stuff with Elle and Bob and the water? Awesome.
Mohinder? Oh, Mohinder, you have gone native.
And the end, the last scene - oh hell.

Date: 2007-11-20 02:43 pm (UTC)I had a weird moment too at the part when it seemed like Noah was going to kill Mohinder, when I realized I had my hands over my face just like Mohinder did.
And I hadn't even thought about it being Adam, but that's brilliant. Would even make sense, given how they both want to take down the company.
I'm somewhat wondering what's going to happen with Molly and Matt, seeing as Sylar seemed to be shacking up with Mohinder again during the previews. Hoping against hope that he does finally kill Molly, sending Matt over the edge, and getting Matt the hell out of Mohinder's apartment.

How much of the first season have you seen? Because if you haven't you need to watch Company Man. It's all Noah, all the time and the best episode the show has ever made.

I'm hoping that at some point in the future, HRG will show up looking for Molly to use to help find his family - and pull a gun on Mohinder and make him suffer a bit while there. Though I like your idea of putting Matt over the edge as well.
