Okay, so for a project I'm working on at the moment downloaded a graphics programme. So I figure, how better to teach myself how to use the programme (in this case Paint.NET, but I've recently downloaded GIMP and am now teaching myself that) than by making icons?

I'm trying to learn so any concrit or pointers would be appreciated.
