The Universe Really is Out to Get Me

I've just been watching The American President. I haven't watched it in a while and it is my absolute favourite romcom.

"I didn’t send 466 to the floor to win you back."
"And I didn't come back because you sent 466 to the floor."

I am such a dork.

Anyway. There is a need for me to post today. Today is the one year anniversary of the release of Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End, which means it is the one year anniversary of the death of James Norrington, which means it is the beginning of the trend of every single favourite character of mine always having to die.

Seriously: James Norrington, Nymphadora Tonks, Noah Bennet,* Lucius Vorenus, Caroline Price, Amber Volakis. Then if you add characters which I like but aren't my favourite, the list gets longer: Sam Tyler, Fred Weasley, Mad-Eye Moody, Weatherby Swann, Owen Harper** Toshiko Sato. Nathan Petrelli may be dead (damn, what is with Heroes and nearly killing Nathan every season finale?). The list goes on.

Will the needless slaying of adored characters please end.

Can we count Sam Tyler as "dead" because he exists ~*somewhere*~ even if it is the 1973 in his mind ;)

God, I love The American President. The only romantic comedy I like. XD I've seen it about 75927402 times. *is dorky too*

The best characters get killed, it's really annoying. *grrs* Also, it is awesome that you like Amber too. Most everyone on my friends list either hated her entirely and are glad she's dead, or only cared enough about her presence/death for the effect on the House/Wilson ship. *flails* AMBER WAS AWESOME GUYS.
