She's quite like Sally Sparrow and River Song as well, in that there was weird time travelling hijinks involved in their first meeting. Moffat apparently really likes timey-wimey stuff happening when he had his characters meet the Doctor.
I can't wait for the rest of the season. I'm hooked.
