New Coat Day
Jun. 26th, 2006 07:40 pmAfter spending my morning finishing a depressing fic, I went shopping and bought a new coat and it’s gorgeous. Well, actually it’s rather plain looking, but it fits wonderfully and is incredibly warm so I really love it. And now I don’t have to look like a homeless person when I go outside in the cold.
I was just watching TV before and there was three adds in the last add break for the new Muse album, Black Holes and Revelations, which as it turns out is coming out on my birthday (best birthday present from a musician ever). Everywhere else it is coming out on the 3rd. I suppose it’s a time zone thing. But with all this publicity, I want it now (I’m being a good girl and not down loading the leaked copy).
Now I have to go and work on the next chapter of Growing to get it up tonight or tomorrow. Its been a while so I hope the people who have been reading it don’t think it’s abandoned. I'm really glad I'm writing a Neville fic, he’s such a fascinating lead character, neither a conventional hero or an anti-hero, just a kid with a tonne of flaws and a good heart. Really, I am just so sick of anti-heros. Dark and brooding has just been done to death in every form of entertainment and I'm rather bored with it.
