I love Norrington. I'd love to see the next parts of the conversation - after Shelley realizes who he is, after Norrington realizes Elizabeth is fascinated with Jack after after after. because I think norrington at the end of DMC can no longer easily say he lost Elizabeth to the decent guy. It's one thing to let her marry Will, it's another to watch her waver between Will and Jack. (Elizabeth doesn't deserve Norrington anyway. Now Jack...hmmmn...
