Book Seven Meme

meddowFigured I should devote some time to my other fandoms.
1. Are you going to look at every possible spoiler you can before the book comes out? Did you with HBP and how accurate were the ones you saw?
No. I’ve had my heart broken from PotC spoilers already and I’m not going to go down that path with Harry Potter. I was internet-less at the time of HBP so managed to avoid everything.
2. What will you do if Amazon (or whoever;) don't deliver your copy on time, and everyone is reading it except you?
I have the benefit of a simultaneous international release, HBP got released at 11am and so I’m going to do what I did with HBP. Place it on hold at the local bookstore, get slightly drunk the night before and sleep until 11am. Get up, eat breakfast and walk to the bookstore and purchase book at about 1pm, thus avoiding queues. No problems. I’ll have it read by bedtime.
3. Will you read the last chapter before anything else? Are you planning to read the book all in one go or are you a slow reader?
No. That’s how I ruined the Tomorrow when the War Began series for myself. Not doing that again.
4. What's your theory on the meaning of "Deathly Hallows?"
I’m going with it being what’s left of Godric Hollow. People have moved out and it has become some kind of ghost town.
5. What's the craziest Harry Potter theory you've got, which you could only share with your trusted f-list?
*cough*TonksisBellatrixandVoldemort’sdaughter.*cough*
6. If you could write in a sub-plot of your own choosing to the main Harry one, what would it be?
McGonagall struggling with the pressure of becoming Dumbledore’s successor, facing off with a bloke who she knew in high school and trying to get Harry to trust her. Only to overcome and kick butt in the end.
7. Who do you think will die in the book, and who would you be most upset to see die, even if you don't think it's likely?
Voldemort, Bellatrix and Narcissa or Lucius. One of the Malfoy’s is going to go. I would be most upset to see Molly, Luna, Neville and McGonagall go. Though I don’t think it’s very likely McGonagall will be a target.
8. Name three main (ish) characters who you think will definitely live and why. Is there a very minor character(s) you really want to have a happy ending?
Harry, Remus and Hagrid. Remus is the perpetual survivor, he’s going to live on because it’s more angsty that he does. I don’t think Hagrid will die. If it is it will be for some big emotional punch which won’t really work since most of the fandom will be dancing on his grave so it’s not a good idea.
Stan Stunpike should get a happy ending.
9. If you don't like the book, or are bitterly disappointed by it, do you think you'll still stay in the fandom?
I may write a few post-war pieces, though I think I will have moved on within the year no matter if I liked the book or not. I doubt I’ll leave the fandom in a tiff even if I don’t like the book.

- Snape: good, evil, own agenda?
Good
- Bill: will he help Remus or just be on permanent honeymoon?

- Peter: a Gryffindor moment or not?

- Harry: is he a Horcrux?
No
- The Weasleys: will they all survive?
Some of them wont.
- If no to the above: who won't?
Bill or one of the twins.
- Did Snape love Lily: yay or nay!
Yay.
- Hogwarts: will they go back to school or not?
Of course. That’s where the conflict began with Slytherin and Gryffindor and so that is where it must end.
- Remus and Tonks: will they get married in the book?
I think there will be another handholding moment, not a marriage.
- Bellatrix: who will be her nemesis?
Narcissa, Draco or Tonks. The Blacks keep it in the family and Neville’s too good to steep to her level. What would rock is if Voldemort did it.
- The new leader of the OotP is ...?
McGonagall.
- Percy: will he see the error of his ways or not?
I think he will if Arthur dies.
11. If Harry could take just one adult Order of the Phoenix member with him on the search for Horcruxes, who should it be and why?
Bill or Tonks. Both of them have jobs with the kind of experience Harry needs.
12. Will Remus and Greyback have a confrontation in human or werewolf form? Will Tonks be involved? Who will the other werewolves support?
I’d happen like The Illusion of Whole. Human, but with teeth involved and Tonks delivering the killing blow.
13. Who is the person from Harry's class (and it isn't him, Ron or Hermione), who will become a Hogwart's teacher? What subject will they teach?
Hermione. I know it’s the expected one, but I want Neville to go and run his own greenhouse.
14. Do you think Harry will observe Remus looking less lined and walking with a little more of a spring in his step? If so, do you think he'll attribute it to Tonks, and if he does, will he blush?
Yes and it shall be an insanely cute moment.
15. Will Ginny use, "But Professor Lupin saw the futility of being a noble prat!" for one of her million arguments with Harry about why they should be together? Do you think they'll get back together at all?
Someone will bring it up but not Ginny. Maybe Remus or Molly.
They will get back together in the end, and I’ll be bored, but I’ll get over it.
16. Which house do you think Tonks is in, and why? Is she going to morph into someone important and who will it be?
I always love this question. There’s alway such a diverse range of answers over Tonks writers as to what house she is in.
Slytherin. We need a good character to turn out to be a Slytherin and I think Tonks is the most likely candidate. She’s show she’s cunning and it would have taken ambition to get to where she is and what with her probably thinking Sirius was evil when she was in school she was probably more open to becoming a Slytherin when she was sorted than other characters.
Hermione, to get some information out of Harry. This is all part of my Snape and Tonks are working together theory.
17. Who will be revealed to be the heir of Gryffindor?
McGonagall. She’s was the teacher Dumbledore hired instead of Tom Riddle and she’s his contemporary, so I just think it would fit nicely *cough*andtheyweresodoingitbackintheday*cough*
18. As JKR has promised the final chapter will be like an epilogue; how do you think the final paragraph (hopefully) donated to Remus' future, and/or Tonks', and/or anyone else you want to write a paragraph on, will read?
As I said in an above question, I think there will be a handholding moment, but not much more. That’s really what I hope for as it gives the ship their own way to interpret the future of the couple.
