Re: OKAY SO

I'm curious about his last confession as well. Hell, I want to know what specifically caused him to leave the seminary (because I imagine his last confession was around that point). It was supposedly a test of faith that he failed, but Chase is off the bat bitter and combative in this episode, and was back in season one with the nun. Or maybe Chase is just angry because seminary wasn't what he wanted or needed it to be.

I'm really glad they didn't got with the understanding-wise-Priest-who-comes-up-with-the-answer-needed route. The Priest came up with an answer that would give Chase absolution, but absolution at the cost of Chase's future, as well as Cameron's, Foreman's, and probably Cuddy and House's as well since the diagnostic department and hospital would come under some very intense scrutiny and heads would roll. And that's a lot of innocent parties who would be dragged down, leaving five less doctors in the world, something House probably considered when deciding to bail Chase and Foreman out last week. Actually, I wish we got more of House's reasoning and motivations for his actions last week.

Hopefully we get more drunk!Chase in future. Right before House personally drags Chase to therapy. I so hope this storyline is going to be about House taking the lesson he's learned from his own downward spiral and using them to help Chase get out of his.
