The weather website that I frequent has a little temperature bar always with “x layer(s) of clothing are recommended to stay comfortable in these conditions” written underneath. I wonder how hot it has to be for it to recommend 0 layers (‘maturity’ is my middle name).

I listened to The Haunting of Thomas Brewster a couple of days ago. And yes, there’s ghosts and TARDIS stealing and sinister fog that dares comparison The Poison Sky. But really this audio is all about the fact that Five bought a house lived as an English gentleman for a year AND GREW A BEARD. I would happily pay to see Five with a beard. (I will not act like an insane shipper and point out that the Doctor settled down for a year waiting for Nyssa proving their true love – or at least if I do point this out I shall do it sneakily in parenthesise).

Does anyone know if with The Key 2 Time Big Finish is cutting down on the Five/Nyssa audios? Because I will be inconsolable if they are.

I've already been going "just where in Five's canon would they fit him alone with an original companion? Unless it's a detour from his time alone with Nyssa or Turlough, which is a stretch..." But now you've planted that thought and I swear I'll cry. Those are the majority of BF audios I focus on.

And they techobabbled together and cut off each other's sentences so much in that one. They're just the cutest.

Wikipedia has informed me that Key 2 Time takes place during Peri and Erimem's run, so at least he hasn't run off and had adventures without Nyssa. And sprry for putting the thought in your head. Hopefully Peter Davison has enough time for K2T and Five/Nyssa audios. And we're getting a Nyssa Companion Chronicle. Although without Peter Davison and with Tegan and Adric, it just won't be the same.

Still, I know is every DW writer's dream to create his or her own Companion (and Doctor, for that matter), but I'm emotionally invested in the one's we've already got, thank you very much.

Ah, then I can breathe a little bit. Because Peter's been doing a lot of Peri/Erimem audios and still found time for lots of Nyssa audios.
