meddowOkay I’m really late to the game and all of this stuff has probably been covered by now, but I’ve been without an Internet connection.
1. Aw, some of my little fanwanks about the Black family have been disproved. Like my pet theory that the Black sisters were triplets, or that Tonks was named after her maternal Grandmother, prompting much more name hated. Sometimes I think that JKR giving us information outside of the books like this is spoiling our fun. Oh well, I’m yet to be disproved that Tonks’s middle name is Jane.
2. Life was cruel, brutish and short. Hooray! Pure blood drama. How many of them died in mysterious circumstances I wonder.
3. 13 year old husbands, also Hooray! That means arranged marriages, which also adds to the wonderful drama of the family. It also lends some support to Bellatrix/Anyone-but-her-husband and Narcissa/Anyone-but-her-husband ships. Though I’m pretty confident Narcissa loves Lucius. Bella on the other hand seems to have room for one man in her life (if you can still count him as a man anymore).
