Doctor Who Season One Picspam

I'm all nostalgic for Nine at the moment. I think it's because of all the ads for GI Joe on the telly. (Dear Christopher Eccleston, please be in better movies. I adore you, but I'm not paying money to see that even though you're in it). So for picspammy's short form challenge I've done the Doctor Who season one launch trailer. The below is not dial-up friendly.

It's from World War Three, the missile Mickey sends to blow up Downing Street.

'Fantastic' would have been just perfect. Oh, my heart breaks just a little every time I hear Nine say that word.

And I don't know what's going on with Billie in that last bit. It's the least Rose-like I've ever seen her in a promo. I think someone was shouting at her behind the camera to look as much like a ex-teenage pop starlet as she could just to terrify the masses.

my understanding is they put the two video's together. There is another one with rose talking about leaving with the Doctor or staying and it ends there as well. I think they added Rose in later.

It's interesting watching and reading interviews with cast and crew who were terrified at that time that it was going to fail, and its wonderful that it became so amazing and really took off.

FANTASTIC!!!
