Second Chance Sunday

The writers strike is apparently in its dying throes, which of course is excellent news. I know there’s not going to probably be any new episodes of TV shows for another couple of months at the earliest, but at least canon is no longer in the hands of the network execs (those non-union Heroes graphic novels Sucked. Badly. And you just know the NBC execs are trying to work the storylines and characters into the show - as if boring plotlines and cast bloat wasn't exactly what was wrong with season two).

I’ve decided to engage upon what shall be dubbed the great Torchwood second chance re-watch of 08 in which I shall actually watch Torchwood. For two reason. Firstly, Martha, and secondly, I'm starting to feel bad mocking a show that I’ve only seen four episodes of. I feel if I’ve seen a good ten, then I can mock it mercilessly.

I was going to go with five, but have decided upon seven: Greeks with Gifts, They Keep Killing Suzie, Out of Time, Captain Jack Harkness, End of Days, Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang and To The Last Man. Plus I’ll watch Martha’s three.

I may regret this, but there’s always the Mothershow and SJA to turn to if the rampant incompetence is becoming too much to bear.
