2. Goo Goo Dolls – Iris (anyone heard the remake by that guy from boyzone? Why? Why?)
I've been asking myself the exact same thing...he merely took away some of the drums and guitars and seemed to try very hard to sound like the Goo Goo Dolls singer. Why do a remake of a not-too-old song when you don't add anything new to it?

It was a big song a while ago, I think. He’s career is probably not at a high and it trying to cash in since if it worked then, surely it would work now. All he’s really succeeding doing is ruining my memory of the old song and making me dislike former boy band members with solo careers even more (which I thought was not possible).
