Check Out the Header

[meddow]

The sun came out this afternoon, so other than trying to get a lot of washing done while it would dry, I decided to grab my camera and make myself a new header. I'm going for a meadow theme, cause well, with a name like meddow, why not? (This idea also explains my current default userpic) I'm quite proud of my MSpaint abilities.

I went to the video store in hopes of finding myself a copy of The Talented Mr. Ripley, but someone else had beat me to it, so I got out Master and Commander, which I hadn't seen since it was on at the movies. It's absolutely great for fic writing research, for me anyway since I'm a visual learner and find seeing things with my own eyes that much better than reading a book about it (this is unfortunate considering my choice of degrees, but I cope). It also happens to be the only movie where I can stand Russell Crowe (Australia can have him as far as I'm concerned) Plus there is the Paul Bettany factor.

Woah! Just as I was typing this up we had an earthquake. Exciting! Though I very much hope it was just a small local one and there there hasn't been a big one somewhere else in the country.

Earthquake!

I quite like your new header. Makes me want to go take photos, but that would involve charging the camera. Too impatient.

The Talented Mr. Ripley is a great film, but Matt Damon's face frightens me a little. It's not that he's unnattractive, really. It's just that...is face....scares me. I don't know.

I'm rather into photography at the moment. I'm waiting for spring and a good day so I can take my camera to the park and take photos of the spring flowers.

I don't know if I could ever be scared of Matt Damon since I've watched Team America: World Police numerous times. I really, really want to watch Ripley. Damn my sucky local video store for not having multiple copies.
